Artist, designer and environmentalist Pablo Solomon will exhibit his drawings, paintings and sculptures at Lyn Belisle Studio the weekend of June 21st and 22nd, 2013. Solomon’s works have graced some of the finest collections in the US and Europe for the past 40 years. He is known around the globe for his drawings and sculptures of dancers. Friday the 21st is the free public opening from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Saturday’s event is a private reception and supper by reservation from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. For reservations, visit  http://www.lynbelisle.com/PabloSolomon.htm

Workshop and Open Mic with Voices de la Luna

Voices de la Luna will host its last workshop of the season (we will begin again in September) on June 26th at Barnes and Noble at La Cantera. The event will consist of a workshop on writing at 6 p.m., and then a reading by featured Artists Tom Emrick and Peter Holland. These monthly workshops are an excellent opportunity for local writers to work with some of the area’s most accomplished artists in partnership with Voices de la Luna.

Cactus Pear Music Festival

Cactus Pear Music Festival was founded in 1996 by former San Antonio Symphony concertmaster of 13 years, Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio. In its 17th season, the festival will feature five programs from July 5th – 14th, 2013 at locations in San Antonio, Boerne, and New Braunfels.
